Mrs. Harris is the Library Media Specialist at WIN Academy in Houston County. She received her Bachelors and Masters  Degree from Fort Valley State University in Middle Grade Education with a Concentration in English/ Language Arts and Social Studies. She earned an Add-On to her Masters from Georgia College and State University in Library Media and Technology. Prior to becoming a Media Specialist Mrs. Harris was a Fifth Grade English/ Language Arts Teacher in the Peach County School System.  Mrs. Harris is married to Verner Harris III, and they have one son Verner Harris IV. She loves to read and uses her  work in the Media Center to encourage students to become life long readers.
