I am Dr. Ayesha Okaiwele and this is my 10th year teaching in Houston County.  I taught Environmental Science, Biology,and  Anatomy and Physiology at VHS before coming over to WIN Academy. Before that, I taught high school science for 11 years in the Kansas City Kansas Public School system.  I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Jackson State University(2003), a Master's of Science Degree from Pittsburg State University (2006), a Master's of Science in School Leadership from Baker University(2012) and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Baker University (2022). 

I moved to Georgia 9 years ago when I married her husband Martin and I have 1 daughter, Ruthielynn. I am looking forward to aiding my students in the exploration of science and hope to create lasting learning experiences through science labs.
