
Bio
Dr. Rogers is from Macon, GA, and before coming to WIN Academy, he taught high school math in Bibb County. Dr. Rogers has taught various math courses at the middle school and high school levels at WIN Academy since 2012. He currently teaches a study skills course aimed at helping students succeed in their core subjects and required credit classes necessary for graduation. In this role, he supports and promotes academic success while helping students address and improve their individual academic deficiencies. Before beginning his career in education, Dr. Rogers had a construction background and earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Georgia College. He later earned his Master's degree from GCSU in Secondary Education and Specialist (EdS) degree from Liberty University in Curriculum and Instruction. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from Kennesaw State University. Dr. Rogers has a passion for helping at-risk students reach their full potential and achieve academic success through building positive relationships and using a variety of instructional strategies.
