Bio

Dr. Leon Williams Jr grew up in Buena Vista Georgia. He enrolled at Fort Valley State University in 1998 where he later received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Dr. Williams resume is filled with jobs from the education and the mental health field. The jobs include Tri County Head Start, Middle Flint Behavioral Center, Phoenix Behavior Center, Methodist Home for Children, and Peach County School systems. He currently works with the Houston County School system at WIN Academy. He has enhanced his education by earning his Masters of Educational leadership from American Intercontinental University in 2007. He earned his Specialist of Education from North Central University in 2009. In 2014, he earned his Doctorate in Education. During his professional career, he has received many accolades and awards which includes the following: voted best dress professional by Peach County FBLA club, coached North-side Middle School to an undefeated season and County basketball Championship, awarded outstanding resource teacher by Middle GA GLRS, and received Teacher Perfect Attendance Award. Dr. Williams has always believed that teachers create the blueprint for a student’s future success.
